چکیده
Background: Primary thyroid lymphoma are seen occasionally accounting for 5% among tumors. Commonest of these lymphomas is diffuse large B cell type. Case report: A 66 years old female presented to our Department with rapidly enlarging mass having difficulty in swallowing as well breathing. She underwent left hemithyroidectomy 30 ago a benign disease. Clinicallly it was 20 × cm hard inconsistency and clinically attached sternocleidomastoid muscles no skin lymph node involvement. Computed Tomography (CT) scan neck contrast showed ill-defined noted arising from the right lobe gland encasing common carotid loss fat planes between jugular vein, sternocleidomastoid, trachea, esophagus suggesting incisional biopsy which Diffuse Large Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL). Discussion: Most originate cells. Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC) can diagnose 80-85% cases but definitive diagnosis be made by only. Surgery has limited role treatment main modality chemoradiotherapy. Conclusion: enlarged swelling should suspected specially on background lymphocytic thyroiditis multidisciplinary team approach used management.

Case Report: Primary Thyroid Lymphoma Presenting as A Rapidly Enlarging Thyroid Mass
Primary thyroid lymphomas (PTL) are very rare and account for only 2.5% to 5% of all thyroid malignancies and 1-2% of all extra-nodal malignancies [1]. PTL is more prevalent in females in the sixth to seventh decade of life [2]. The presentation of PTL can be puzzling. PLT may be mistaken for anaplastic thyroid cancer. Immunochemistry is an important part of pathologic differentiation of these ...

Introduction: Primary gastric lymphoma (PGL) is a rare tumor, whose differential diagnosis may become complicated without precise immunohistochemistry (IHC) and genetic analysis. Case Presentation: A 33-year-old woman presented with gastric cancer and had undergone gastrectomy without precise IHC and staging in another center. Inappropriate IHC after surgery showed diffuse large B-cell lymphom...

متن کاملHISTIOCYTE-RICH B-CELL LYMPHOMA: A CASE REPORT OF A RARE VARIANT OF DIFFUSE LARGE B-CELL LYMPHOMA
The authors describe a case of histiocyte-rich B-cell lymphoma (HR-BCL), a variant of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, in a 51-year-old man. The patient presented with large axillary lymphadenopathy. Histopathologic and immunohistochemical examination of lymph node biopsy revealed diffuse effacement of the lymph node architecture by reactive histiocytes and neoplastic CD20 positive B cells. ...
متن کاملDiffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma Presenting as a Cardiac Mass.
Cardiac involvement as an initial presentation of malignant lymphoma is a rare occurrence. We describe the case of a 77-year-old man who had initially been diagnosed with a left atrial mass on an echocardiogram, presenting with progressive dyspnea, dysphagia, odynophagia and fevers. The cardiac mass had been managed as an outpatient with full anticoagulation for the suspicion of clot. On admiss...
